Let's Help Heal Jon Navarro

On Sunday September 15th, our beloved friend and former leader of C3 Los Angeles' kid's church, was rushed to the hospital after a horrific fall while doing yard work with his father. The oversized tree branch that they were tending too, took an unexpected swing and knocked Jon off the ladder, crashing onto his lower back.
He broke 8 ribs and sustained other injuries, including a small tear in the liver. We thank God that he did not injure his spine or head.
As you can imagine, just breathing was extremely painful for him. This week he underwent breathing treatments and began breathing way better than anticipated. Intense pain comes and goes, as his amazing wife Anna explained to us, so they were working on patience and small movements.
He was moved to the PCCU after a few days, which was positive news to getting one step closer to start physical therapy and discharge.
Unfortunately on Friday September 20th, they had a setback when they were all set to leave the hospital. As they were waiting for discharge, the doctor suspected fluid in his lungs. This lead to a long day of waiting, an X-ray and a tube inserted into his lung... which was extrutiatingly painful for him. The worst he said he has ever felt.
Currently (today, Sunday Sep 22nd) they are still in the Hospital and hope for a discharge this week.
These funds will not only help with high hospital expenses and ambulance fees...but we are still awaiting word if Jon will be able to go on disability at work because he has not been at his job longer then a year (which is the benchmark for when you may receive disability - He and Anna just moved to South Carolina and he started with this new firm.) We want to elevate any pressure for him to rush recovery and get back on his feet. Not to mention they are still developing new relationships; and who they can lean on in their new community.
Let Us help the Navarros focus solely on healing and rest. Let us relieve the worry about medical expenses, and take those anxieties totally off their plate.
We also believe in the power of prayer. Please pray for peace, a lack of pain in Jon's body and for the fluid to disappear quickly and completely. Pray for Anna, who is a warrior by his side, that she may also get rest and peace of mind.
