Let's Help Bethany!

Bethany is a vibrant, outgoing typical 21 year-old.  She was working toward pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in education.  She was an active member in her church.  She loves to sing and cook, and she has a fabulous sense of humor.  Unfortunately, all of that has been interrupted by a series of medical events.  Bethany has suffered with the effects of hydrocephalus (excess accumulation of fluid in the brain) her entire life.  Historically, her condition has required some surgeries at Johns Hopkins Hospital to address problems related to a shunt that was put in place to drain the excess fluid.  This has accelerated in the last 2 years, causing Bethany to endure several extended hospital stays while doctors struggle to regulate and balance her condition to reduce / eliminate her pain and side effects. 

Sadly, due to her situation, Bethany had to withdraw from school.  She also had to leave her job.  The financial burden has become overwhelming and debilitating for these essential surgical procedures and related hospital stays.  The family is too humble to ask for help, so let’s do this on their behalf.  Bethany is currently in the hospital.  She is trying to remain positive, but a lack of medical resolution and mounting debt is weighing heavily on her and the family.  Please help us restore her hope and reduce the burden by donating to her cause.  We are believing for a miracle for Bethany both physically and financially.  Please join us in prayer for Beth’s recovery.
