Our beloved Beth needs our help!
Beth is a mother of two young children and local Olympia teacher. She embodies compassion, kindness, care, respect, and love - for her family, students, Lincoln school, and the greater community. She teaches kids about filling up others' emotional buckets, and now it's time for us to fill up hers - with both loving care and money!
After years of confusion with chronic pain and fatigue, she recently learned she has a genetic connective tissue condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome along with Autoimmune disease, Lyme disease, Mast Cell Activation, POTS, Babesia, and other co-infections.
The cost of care for the last three years has been about $3,000 a month for supplements, medications, testing, multiple doctor visits and surgeries. Their credit cards are full, savings accounts are depleted and they are going deeper into debt every month.
Beth dreams of being able to afford the treatments, testing, and care she needs. There are expensive medications that cost $1,200 for just 3 days that she would like to be able to do for a month, as well as some expensive testing and new therapies she hopes to be able to try, and a couple very expensive doctors she would like to meet with.
With the care she is pursuing she has been able to continue to teach young children at almost full time, and she wants to be able maintain that ability to work.
