Let's help Andre!

I am the Chair of the Mathematics and Statistics Department at Sonoma State University in Northern California.  One of my department faculty members, Andre Minor, lost his home to the Glass fire on September 28.  This home was built by Andre's father, and Andre has lived there his entire life.  Andre and his family made a dramatic escape through the flames, and had to leave many valuable and sentimental items behind.  Andre is currently on his property, using a garden hose to try to save his neighbor's homes.

Andre will have many expenses in the immediate future:  He will need lodging, food, clothing, and more.  I am hoping to raise $5000 to help him offset these costs.  Any amount that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.

Please note that Andre has not asked me to fundraise for him.
