Dear Bus 705 Families,
Many of us were lucky enough to have had Mr. Al as the bus driver for our children. His unwavering warmth, radiant smile, selfless demeanor, giant hugs, and buoyant hellos started our children's school day with love and positivity. His kindness and generosity of spirit made a deep impression on all of us.
However, at 81-years-old, having been retired for a few years, Mr. Al is now on the brink of homelessness. He is having difficulty making ends meet. We hope that we, as a community of families, can give back to this wonderful man. We have started a go fund me page to help raise money for Mr. Al to stay afloat. Please reach out to other families whose children spent time on the 705 as well. Together we can help bolster Mr. Al's life and help him regain the spirit and joy for living that he so constantly bestowed upon us. Thank you.
