Hello everyone!

This is little Christian Escobar Vera, he is almost 2 years old. He lives in Ecuador with his parents. Christian was born with a cleft lip and palate. This condition makes it very difficult for Christian to eat and develop his speaking abilities. Fortunately, he will be undergoing surgery tomorrow to repair his condition. However, Christian’s parents are of very low financial means and would greatly benefit from any help that goes towards the medicine and care he would need to recover well after surgery. His recovery will take a few weeks but with the appropriate medications and care Christian will have the opportunity to eat and speak normally. Christian and his family are very grateful for the support and thank you ahead of time for the donations.

We have more than nine children on waiting list to get a surgery for their cleft palate, right now one of our kids needs to get a second surgery for his palate. The surgeries are being done by a surgeon for free, thank God we don’t need to pay for this, but this children are poor and they don’t have the commodities all kids deserve to have. Your donation will help to buy them, medicine, food, furniture and clothing and it will also help to cover all the costs for before and after the surgery, medical care is not free in Ecuador South America.

This is little Christian after his lip surgery. He is now waiting for his second surgery for his cleft palate.
