TIME TO RALLY AROUND THE RUBINO FAMILY!
Wake Forest, NC
Friends of the Rubino family have put together a GoFundMe Campaign in support of Meagan & Peter and their children. To know the Rubino family is to love them. Their 5 children, ranging in age from 8 years to 5 months, are sweet, kind and loving - very much like their parents.

The family has had its share of challenges over the last two years beginning with the discovery that their new home had a pervasive mold problem. Financial drain started as they incurred legal fees, moves to multiple temporary housing, extraordinary medical expenses resulting from mold related illnesses, and payment on two houses - their original home and the rental they currently reside in.
And now, their precious 5 year-old daughter, Vivian (Vivi), has been experiencing concerning symptoms including headaches, impaired vision, nausea, vomiting and episodes of paralysis since early July. In August, she was found to have a large cyst on the pineal gland in her brain, rare to find in someone so young. To avoid permanent loss of vision and hopefully eliminate her headaches, nausea, and vomiting, the cyst was drained immediately (removal would be too invasive and dangerous). While the family remained encouraged that the surgery would resolve Vivi's health issues, the problems persisted and in some instances, worsened.
Vivi spent Friday, September 4 through Friday, September 11 at UNC's Children's Hospital where doctors from every conceivable discipline and specialty tried to determine the cause of Vivian's ongoing medical symptoms. Their efforts proved inconclusive and her care has been transferred to Duke Medical Center. Given the rare nature of Vivi's condition, the family is looking at all options including those out-of-state.

THEY NEED OUR HELP NOW! They have exhausted every possible financial resource and their debts continue to mount. Any support you can offer is so appreciated - $5, $10, anything; it all adds up. Please consider being part of "the village" that wants to do everything possible to help the Rubinos during this trying time. Thank you so much.
With deep gratitude,
