Let's Get Robert Up And Rolling Again

On October 15 and October 25, Robert Smalls' life changed when diabetes-related neuropathy resulted in his toes amputated on both foots. Losing a part of one's body is often traumatic and unexpected. Adapting to new methods of doing tasks is never easy, especially for Robert. Although Robert may face some challenges, his end goal is always the same: return to a sense of normalcy. This means the ability to perform the same tasks as before as independently and efficiently as possible. His faith and positive outlook on life have been keys to his recovery. Robert currently resides at the Pleasant Valley Manor Care Center. The funds that will be contributed will be used for the sole purpose of the accessories that is needed. He needs 24/7, seven days a week care. His prayers are to go back to his home with the use of being able to move around with the necessity to get around and lift his spirits up.

On the behalf of Robert and his family, we want to thank you for your contributions and prayers- which are very much appreciated. We also would like to thank you for serving in the U.S. Army.
