Let's get our boy seizure free!

Hey everyone, we started a Go Fund Me because Aaron has been referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for his seizures. We will have a lot of out of pocket costs to cover gas, hotel, food, medical expenses after insurance and all other expenses needed for the trips back and forth.  If you dont know Aaron's story, he was first diagnosed with seizures when he was a year old. We have been seeing neurologists and epilepsy specialists with Arkansas Childrens Hosptial for the past almost 5 years. He developed absence seizures and doctors said he would more than likely grow out of them as he got older. A year later we did another EEG because his seizures seemed to make him jerk which was something new for him. They scheduled an 8 hour EEG and we made it 3 hours before they sent us home. He had so many seizures in the 3 hours we didnt need to stay the entire time. Once speaking to the doctor we learned he developed a second type of seizure call Myclonic  seizures. In the last 4 and a half years hes been on several medications, has had several tests, MRI's and we havent been able to find out a cause. One week ago we went for another EEG sleep test. The results came in that his seizures have majorly increased and are getting stronger. Our sweet boy is exhausted all the time from having so many seizures a day. Doctors are afraid if uncontrolled they will continue to get worse and worse. So from here we have been referred to the top Epilepsy Hospital in the US. We all want our sweet boy to be seizure free and to get some answers after almost 5 years.  We will be making several trips back and forth to Minnesota in the upcoming months.
