Let's Get Dave Meixner Back on His Feet!

Hello Friends and Family. On Saturday, July 6th beloved husband, father and friend to many, Dave Meixner, experienced an accident leaving him with a debilitating spinal cord injury. He is currently paralyzed from the neck down, and though we are happy to share that so far he is exceeding the expectations of his doctors, this has been a scary, unexpected tragedy for himself and his family.  He underwent an emergency surgery to relieve the pressure created by an excess of fluid that collected around his injured spinal cord, and now begins what will be a long and challenging recovery. This process will include many months of care and physical therapy in hopes to regain his mobility. As you all know he is the loving foundation of a family, his wife Rebecca and their two children Fritz and Lili. During this process the family will stay by Dave's side, rendering both Dave and Rebecca unable to work for the unforeseeable future.  We are asking for financial support to help hold their lives together while they focus on Dave's recovery and to assist with the costs that his recovery will incur. The family's access to these resources are urgent and crucial to Dave's ability to heal. Please help us in any way you can to get Dave back on his feet!
