Let's do this for Montrel
Donation protected
Montrel Wilson passed away on February 19, 2019. He had an amazing life that was cut short due to complications during open heart surgery. He was an exceptional husband to Kisha, and dedicated father to his girls Kelis and Khloe.
We started this fundraiser to honor Montrel’s memory by raising donations to ensure his daughters never have to worry about school tuition or education expenses. School has always been important to Montrel. He joined the Marines soon after high school and was stationed in Honolulu. While in Hawaii he pursued his education at the University and worked as a police officer. He always served our country while building his own career through school. He finished his education at the University of Phoenix. He worked for many big corporations throughout the years but was currently working as the General Manager for Michelin North America U70.
Anyone who had the honor of knowing Montrel knew he was one of a kind. He loved to dance, eat food (there were too many to name but he loved his crawfish and pumpkin pie), traveling with his family, playing with his pet ‘Jackson’, keeping up with friends via social media or outings, and most of all enjoyed the simple things in life. He recently posted on his FB page a picture at the grocery store and captioned it “On a Saturday night… not in the club, not at the bar but with my favorite person…in the grocery store with the Wife! I really do enjoy this!”. He lived each day to the fullest and never took one day for granted.
In a short few months his oldest daughter will be graduating. Kelis was planning on attending the University of South Carolina Upstate. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances she has decided she wants to be close to family and will now transfer to a school in Louisiana. Her major is Political Science. Khloe will graduate in a couple of years and plans on becoming an Anesthesiologist.
The family would like to thank everyone for contributing to the girls’ education, the prayers, texts and phone calls. You will never know how much it means to them. All donations will be directly deposited into a college fund that has been set up. If you have a special memory or photo you would like to share please include on this page. These will be uplifting to the family to read when they need it most.
Sincerely,
