My name is Magaly Leyva. I am a 28 year old mother, graduate, daughter, sister, cousin and friend.
My life completely changed three years ago when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgskins Lymphoma. It has been a long and difficult road since then. The last two years were spent in and out of the hospital as I received treatment for my illness. But with the endless amount of love, help and support from my family and friends, and despite all odds, I was able to complete my education, and as of one year ago received the amazing news that I was in remission, meaning the cancer was finally gone!
As I went in for a routine scan to make sure I was still in good health I received the horrible news that the monster is back, and I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma again, just as I began to pave the path for my future. I did not expect for this to happen and I continuously prayed that I would never have to deal with cancer again but God has plans of his own and I know that I would never be given anything that I can't handle.
The great thing is that I've been through this all before, so now I know what to expect, both mentally and physically, although this time around it might be a little harder. Now I ask for everyone's continued support and guidance because I know that I can't do this on my own as I am going to have to resign from my job for a few months due to treatment. I invite you to all follow my journey on Instagram https://instagram.com/cancerawarenessangels?r=nametag as I beat cancer for a second time.
Through this account I will keep everyone updated on my progress.
Please keep me in your prayers, a donation or a share will greatly help.
Thank you all so much.
God bless.
