Restore A Home For Foster Kids!

Tax deductible
WHO WE ARE- We are Jeff and Kristina Jones and we and our three boys have been forever changed by the beautiful redemption found through adoption. Over the years of parenting our sons,  we've had a growing desire make more of an impact through orphan advocacy as well as seeking the most supportive environment possible for our family to thrive in. You can follow along with our adventures @WildFreeOnes.

WHY WE'RE MOVING-
Our hearts have been moved by an organization in the Cincinnati area called New Oaks Community and we are partnering with their team to help end the global orphan crisis right here in Ohio!

We will be serving with our time and talents to help make the vision of The Father's House  a reality, based on Isaiah 61-"that abandoned or neglected children will find a home where they can experience the true love of God, to understand they were born with great purpose, and to be set free to live out their destiny. By planting seeds of unconditional love in their hearts, the orphans of our times can become “new oaks” – firmly rooted in family and a contributing part of the community."

THE BACKSTORY: When we found out that New Oaks Community has been developing properties where families can live in community and unite in heart for the common purpose of loving kids through foster care and adoption, our hearts leapt and we literally started praying about the move from Kansas City back to Ohio where we're from!

The historic mansion was a former civil war era orphanage started after the war to care for the orphans of their time. It is now called "The Father's House", a modern orphan advocacy center and is the first project of the organization and has been beautifully renovated into a community base where there will be meals shared, tutoring rooms, support groups and classes offered, prayer missionaries housed, worship nights and so much more! There are even plans in the future to expand this model of orphan advocacy in other states and cities.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: The next building project on the property needs to be renovated into a two-story home so it can house our family and we can begin to live and serve in community. This 100 year old home, the former "laundry house" of the orphanage will be big enough for our family and will also have rooms available for foster children to be housed and small missions teams to visit.  Once funds are raised, the remodel can happen pretty quickly, so we need YOU to consider giving of your resources. 100% of the proceeds will go to the New Oaks Community building fund for the "laundry house".

WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
At this point, we've decided against raising money for ourselves as income and have pursued employment so that
all of the money raised can help quickly restore the home which will likely outlast our family so that the dream can impact future generations.

We would love to use our giftings and talents to further the vision-we would use our photography, social media marketing, and networking skills as well as social work, community organizing and teaching talents to wrap around families providing care for vulnerable children.

We dream of hosting worship and prayer nights geared toward families in a creative atmosphere where they can unleash their God-given creativity through the arts. We also dream of hosting cooking classes where kids aging out of the system can learn to be self-sufficient, and so many more ideas.

HOW SOON?-We have big faith and believe that we will be able to move this fall (October-November 2018) with the full transformation being complete.

Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors who have helped make this video and logo. We could not have done this without your generosity!
