Let's all support Ed's journey!

Ed Solak suffered an unspeakable tragedy from an incident this past summer in July 2019 that has caused complete paralysis from the armpit level and down. He also sustained some hand function impairment. The results of this injury has classified him as a low tetra-palegic.
He has spent the last 6 months in hospital recovering from his injuries and doing physical therapy at a rehabilitation centre in Hamilton, ON in order to return home. He will continue to do outpatient therapy for the foreseeable future.
He was a provider for his family of 6 with a successful drywall business that he owned and operated for over 20 years. Due to the injuries he has sustained from this incident, he was forced to close his business, no longer having the ability to generate income to support his family. It has been made clear that he will not be able to return to this type of work again, and it is unknown when he will be returning to another form of employment in the future. Expenses related to medications, medical supplies, equipment, therapies, assisted devices, home and vehicle modifications are extensive. Many of these expenses are not covered by insurance or OHIP.
Ed is asking for your help so he can financially support his hard work and determination of his journey back to a somewhat normal life, that he can share with his loving family and 4 children.
