My name is Mary (originally from Nepal - currently residing in UK )

On 8th September 2025, peaceful student protests (GEN Z Protest) in NEPAL against the corruption were met with bullets instead of dialogue.

Young voices demanding justice, equal opportunity, and accountability were silenced with lethal force. More than 19 innocent students have lost their lives and hundreds are critically injured.

These youngsters were not criminals, but students demanding freedom and justice. The peaceful protest by Gen Z generation against the corruption and equal opportunity turned into a bloodbath.

Their voices were met with bullets and lethal force. These were students with uniforms who just wanted their voice to be heard demanding better future and equal opportunities , a non corrupt government - not only for themselves but also for the upcoming generations.

No government should ever wages war on its youth.

The situation in hospitals is heartbreaking. Medical staff are working tirelessly but are overwhelmed. There is a severe shortage of ambulances, medicines, space, and essential medical supplies. Families are desperate, and many victims are not receiving the urgent care they need.

I am originally from Nepal and now run a food bank in the UK called RedeemFoods. Seeing my homeland in such pain has deeply shaken me, and I cannot stay silent. That is why I am launching this GoFundMe campaign.

Together, we have stood for nations during their times of crisis. Now, it is time to stand up for Nepal .

These students only asked for a future free from corruption and freedom of expression.

Let us show them that the world hears their cries and stands in solidarity.
