Hana Feleke is age 33 a blind and single mother of a boy age 7. Hana, at age 12 lost her sight in both eyes. Hana graduated from Addis Ababa University earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law on September 2008 and graduated from College of Leadership and Government earned Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in International Law on July 2018. Hana was working for one of the Ethiopian government agencies.
The doctor confirmed that Hana is suffering from Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome; an extra electrical pathway between her heart's upper and lower chambers causes a rapid heartbeat (an electrical abnormality in the heart)
The doctor recommended that Hana needs complete evaluations followed by EPS (Electro Physiology Study) and RF (Radio Frequency) ablation surgery.
If it's left untreated, the abnormal heartbeat, arrhythmia, or tachycardia, can cause blood pressure, heart failure, and even death
(WPW) syndrome treatment is not offer in Ethiopia; therefore, Hana needs to travel abroad to India for her medical care and treatments.
Being blind with tremendous medical expenses are more than Hana can handle. Please help Hana for her medical expenses and travel cost.
All funds raised will go directly to Hana’s medical costs and related travel expense to India
If you could support Hana by making a donation and then by sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even a small amount will make a big difference collectively and will get Hana closer to the goal and save her life!
Thank you!
