ይህ በፎቶ የምታዩት ልጅ ናሆር ይባላል። የተወለደውም ሚያዝያ 17,2011 በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ነው። ሆኖም ልክ እንደተወለደ የትንፋሽ ማጠር ፤ የአመጋገብ መዛባት ፤ ጤናማ ያልሆነ የልብ ምት እንዲሁም ከፍተኛ የህመም ምልክት በማሳየቱ በተደረገለት የኢ.ኬ.ጂ ምርመራ ልቡ ከፍተኛ ችግር እንዳለበት ዶክተሮች ደሰውበታል። ይህም በዋነንኝት የተጣራ ደም የሚያደርሱት የደም ባንቧዎች መዘዋር እንዲሁም በልቡ የውስጥ ግድግዳ ላይ ሁለት ቀዳዳዎች ተገኝተዋል። በዚህም የተነሳ የልብ ቀዶ በስድስት ሳምንታት በውጪ ሃገር ሄዶ ማግኘት እንዳለበት የህክምና ቦርዱ ወስኗል። አባቱ ኤልያስ እንዲሁም እናቱ ጫልቱም ልጅ የሚያስፈልገውን ሕክምና በቀሩት ሶስት ሳምንታት ውስጥ እንዲያገኝ ሌት ተቀን እየባከኑ ነው። ህንድ ሄዶ እንዲታከም የሚፈለገውን ወረቀት እያሟሉ ሲሆን ለቀዶ ጥገናው የተጠየቀዉን 8000 የአሜሪካ ዶላር እንዲሁም የትራንስፓርት እና የአንድ ወር መቆያውን ገንዘብ ተቸግረዋል። እኔና ቤተሰቤም በቻልነው ብንረዳቸውም አቅማችን ውስን በመሆኑ በዚህ በመጠቀም ለወገን አድርሰነዋል። ለወገን ደራሽ ወገን ነውና በኢትዮጵያም በውጭም ያላችሁ ወገኖች ትብብርን ይህን ሕፃን እንታደገግው።
This cute baby boy you see is Nahor. Second child to his parents, Nahor was born on April 25,2019 with a rare congenital heart disease. when he was delivered, he was showing severe symptoms of shortness of breath, feeding interruption, abnormal heart beats and was in great amount of pain. Upon further diagnosis, it was discovered that his great arteries are abnormally related (mismatched) and has two small holes in his heart. His heart is not able to deliver oxygenated blood to his body and is in desperate need of intracardiac surgery. But to make matters worse, this level of heart surgery is not available in Ethiopia and needs to go overseas to get the surgery. The doctors said this surgery needs to be performed within the first six weeks and he has about three more weeks left as right now. His dad Elias and his mom Chaltu are currently going through hell to come up with the money needed to take him to India. They have completed all the necessary processes needed including getting him the visa but don't have the money to pay for the travel and the treatment. With your donations, you will give Nahor a chance to live and help the family in this desperate times. God willing we will be able to get him the medical treatment he desperately needs on time.
A little bit about myself, I am a Marine EOD technician stationed at Camp Pendleton. When I heard Nahor's story, I was heartbroken. My family and I are doing everything we can to help the family, but we are also limited.
