LET US BE THE CHANGE

Hi, my name is Johanna and I'm a medical student from Austria. I'm currently working as a volunteer in the Emergency Department at the Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Most of the patients here are very young and come to the department after traffic accidents. The department lacks many materials that are necessary for the care of patients. Sutures, medications, bandages, but also very simple things like blankets are often not available. Therefore I decided to collect donations in order to be able to buy the necessary materials and donate them to the hospital directly. This way I can absolutely make sure that the donations will arrive. I know this won’t change the world, but maybe it will change the world for someone.
