We are a group of volunteers from your local community, coming together for something bigger than ourselves — to help build a future for children in Rhonda, Nakuru, Kenya, through Melon Missions.

Right now, the school these children rely on has no concrete floors, no electricity, and no safe classroom for the youngest to learn in. But with your help, we can change that.

We are aiming to raise £5,000, and every penny will go directly toward buying the essential supplies needed to:

• Build a secure, purpose-built classroom for infants

• Lay safe concrete flooring

• Install electricity throughout the school

• Construct a clean, hygienic kitchen for their daily feeding program

• Purchase nearby land to access clean water through a drilled well, and grow fresh produce

This isn’t just construction — it’s transformation.

We are not a large organisation. We are ordinary people, trying to do something extraordinary — to stand beside this remarkable community, echo their voice, and help build not just walls, but real, lasting hope.

The Rhonda community lives in one of the most densely populated and underserved slum areas in Kenya — a place burdened by generational poverty. But it is also a place filled with brilliant, kind, and resilient people — children who dream, families who strive, and neighbors who support each other through unimaginable hardship.
