Let there be Drums

Hello. My name is Jeffrey Kennison. Many know me by my stage name, Oso Blanco (White Bear). I have been a full-time professional Drummer for 54 years. The years of actively playing a physical instrument have taken a toll on my body, and in July, I suffered a Stroke. Unlike the reputation musicians sometimes have, I never had issues with drugs or alcohol. Hard work and performing and teaching drums seven days a week are not uncommon for me. The recovery has been largely successful, but several developing orthopedic problems remain. The cost of lost work and medications has impacted my ability to continue addressing my financial responsibilities. I want to keep working to keep up with medical expenses and other obligations in my life. I turn to this site to break even and enable myself to go on for a few more years without pain and discomfort, which is threatening to cut short my active life. I will use whatever funds are accrued here for that purpose only. Thank you.
