Our names are Hailee and Trina, and we are opening a bakery!
A bit of backstory: Like most, we lost our jobs in 2020 due to the pandemic. Despite the jobs search challenges, we both ended up on Tiktok and our platforms grew as we shared our best bakes with the world.
Baking is our passion, and our dream is to open our own macaron shop. We have spent the past year dedicated to recipe development, design work, packaging, you name it!
In Rhode Island, there are no cottage food laws, meaning that we have to have a commercial kitchen. These can come with quite a hefty price tag. We finally found one that will have availability in mid June! Our budget is tight at the moment due to the lack of employment, but we are pinching pennies left and right to make this happen!
