Let the Roden Family Live Someplace Safer
We Need A Safer Place to Live!!!
Hello there. Our family, my mum Diana and I, are determined to move back to our farm away from the crime-ridden area of Regina we currently live in. Our farmhouse, however, has been vandalized to the point of it no longer being a safe place to live. To that end, after considerable research, I did find a "house for free" to get hauled to our farm. However, getting it towed is not going to be cheap, as the most reasonable quote I have received verbally so far has been $8000, and others yet have suggested $17,000 Cdn. on paper. For fundraising purposes, I am leaning towards the higher amount in case the verbal one is suddenly changed last minute.
We will also be hauling the majority of our household items by U-Haul, and hiring people for the loading and unloading of the items once we get everything lined up (this would be done once the house is moved onto our land). A rough estimate as to how much this would cost is $2500 to cover, rental of the moving truck and hiring a crew, as well as meals during and after the job.
Also, as there are funds which get paid to GoFundMe directly so I may use this fundraising platform, I am making the total goal slightly higher than the $19,500 estimate and making it $22,000 to consider the money going straight to GoFundMe.
