Let the Memory of Elzbieta be with us Forever

· Passed away on May 18, 2020 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, our beloved sister and friend Elzbieta Lombara passed away on May 18th after a long and devastating illness ALS. She had been suffering for a long time and we were heartbroken being unable to ease her pain in this tragic and incurable disease.
Ela was a beloved daughter to Stanislawa, a great sister to Slawek, Krzysztof and Tadeusz, an amazing sister-in-law to me, and, first of all, a wonderful mum to Joanna and Alexandra, and a loving wife to Zbigniew. She was one of the kindest people you could ever met, and she opened her heart and her home to all family and friends . She will be sorely missed by her closest family and all of us.
Her husband Zbigniew is struggling to cope, so my husband and I are stepping in to help with organizing Ela’s Funeral. We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
