We’re Vivienne (writer) and Gael (producer), and we’re raising funds to bring our film project, “let that sink in,” to life. Vivienne wrote this story inspired by the highs and lows of the high school experience, following Sabrina and Annie—two best friends since elementary school—as they struggle to process and navigate their final days before graduation. Their bond is built on a shared sense of humor and a relentless need to prove themselves, often at the expense of those around them. Through attention-seeking stunts and their sibling-like dynamic, they try to forget that peaking in high school is only temporary, and the real world is waiting just outside the classroom doors.
As Sabrina and Annie face the reality of growing up and the looming separation that college brings, their friendship is tested in ways they never expected. Our film explores the bittersweet, chaotic, and sometimes hilarious moments that define the end of adolescence, and the fear that comes with stepping into the unknown. We want to capture the raw, honest emotions of this time in life—something we believe many people can relate to, no matter where they are in life.
To make this film a reality, we need your help. The funds raised will go directly toward renting equipment, securing locations, paying our talented actors, providing food and craft services, and creating the production design that will bring Sabrina and Annie’s world to life. Your support, whether big or small, will make a huge difference in helping us share this story with the world. Thank you so much for considering a contribution and for believing in independent film!
