Let Our Rae of Sunshine Shine Again

Last week I received one of the scariest calls at 5am... My sister was in the hospital as a result of being assaulted the night before. At the time, she had no recollection of what had happened and was confused as to why she was in the middle of the street with blood all down her face. She had two large gashes; one on the back of her head with seven staples and one on her face with nine stitches, as well as a broken jaw and several broken teeth. I'm so glad she made it to a neighbor's house, and they were able to call 911. At the time, she thought she had to have been hit by a car because it was unfathomable that she was assaulted and left in a pool of her own blood. 
      At this time we are asking for donations that could help lessen the financial burden; her doctors are asking for immediate funds of $7,000 to wire her jaw closed for 6 weeks to allow it time to heal. And this is just the beginning. Beyond that she is going to need extensive dental work and plenty of follow up on both medical and dental. Help make our Rae of sunshine shine again!
