Let No One Be Left Behind
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
You might know that I am working on this research project which involves non-physician anaesthesia providers in Zambia and Somaliland. As you might know in these countries the provision of anaesthesia is very limited and I feel very passionate about supporting local colleagues to access the training they need in order to improve anaesthesia provision in low-resource settings.
I hope you can help me in gathering some funds to enable Siston and Daniel to undertake a Bachelor degree in Anaesthesia in Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.
The total cost for both of them is around £8.000 for the whole year of study and your donation will go toward paying the tuition fee, books, accommodation and cost of living.
The amount of funds we would need to raise might seem to be a lot initially but will change two persons lives and enable them to get the qualifications they need in order to improve anesthesia provision in their country which in turn will help many more people.
I am confident that if many of us contribute a small amount, whatever each one can afford, all together we can reach this aim.
As I recently red somewhere “no one can do everything but everyone can do something”.
I would really appreciate your help.
If anyone is interested in finding out more letters from Siston and Daniel are copied below.
Lots of thanks,
Konstilia
PS Unfortunately Gofundme does not operate yet in Zambia and the only way to do the fundraising is to receive the funds myself and I will be personally responsible for transferring the funds to them. For any questions and/or clarifications please contact me. Thank you for your understanding.
