My beautful daughter Jade has a rare Syndrone called Prader Willi. Its a complex and dibilitating syndrome which can have severe and dangerous consequences. 
The daily problems Jade has to live with are many, far too many to list.
Jade is currently receiving hospital care for a recently diagnosed Pulmonary Embolism and we will have to inject medication for most of her life. She also has very severe lymphedema which limits her movement to the point she can no longer climb the stairs to get to bed. 
One of the crucial treatments for Lymphedema is to able to keep her legs raised so the glands can drain. Jade is currently sleeping on the settee which unfortunately cannot hold both her legs at the same time, consequently she spends most of the night on her knees with her head resting on her arms on the sofa, which does not aid a restful sleep and has a negative affect on her legs. Its a catch 22
Our local authourity does not have the funding to supply a bariatric lift and rise chair and I do not have the funds to buy one privately.
We would be so grateful if we can raise the money to buy a desperately needed, specialised chair.
