Hi, I am the Visionary and founder of LET LOOSE, a free community outdoor music concert with free refreshments served, aimed at giving a glimmer of hope to victims and survivors of abuse. This is an experience I suffered in the hands of various men from the age of 5 till my teenage years. I now use my talent of singing to share my experiences of surviving abuse with the support of a great team and my family to encourage other survivors, that there is hope after abuse.

The concert started and still runs on Gillingham high street, United Kingdom, in the summer. It's been running for 10 years and we have been honoured to take it to Africa last year for the first time for a 1 week outdoor and indoor concert. The concert is attended by various dignitaries like the Mayor and a representative from the Royal family
We are even more honoured to be invited to Asia this year for the concert and I am scheduled to go earlier than I anticipated, I literally have weeks to go. My visa of entry has been approved too YAY!
This is where I need your support. I need to raise £10,000 for my Asia trip and concert. This will cover the expenses of the concert in Asia and my travel and personal expenses to Asia.
I will be collaborating with other local artists and speakers in smaller groups like women's summit, leadership seminars etc too
The main places for the concerts will be in places that are socially and economically depraved and impoverished and we are looking at feeding thousands of attendees after every concert. We will also need for the 7 days, funds to hire sound, stage, venue space, feeding, banners, promo materials, security, hiring of professionals eg therapists, cargo expenses (to transport clothes and other things that would be distributed amongst the indegenes that need it most) etc
My driving force in organising the various concerts is the message behind the vision of the concert '...to give a glimmer of hope to victims and survivors...' and I will need your immense support to make it a reality.
The number of survivors that the concert has impacted also strengthens and encourages me to carry on and extending internationally was never anticipated but if the doors and opportunities are open to support assure that 1 person that there is hope after abuse then I am hoping to seize the opportunity with the right support
One of the feedbacks I have heard is '...thank you for sharing your experiences of going through abuse, I went through abuse too but I couldn't share it with anyone and I am giving up on life, but hearing you share your story has given me a bit of hope...'
Apart from the upscale concert, I also busk on various high streets with my little speaker and microphone , not asking for financial donations but sharing my experiences of surviving abuse and singing too
I also host a podcast titled HOW I SANG MY WAY THROUGH ABUSE. Which gives an extensive insight on how I overcame falling into the stereohtype of "victim of abuse"
