Hello everyone. I am not usually one to ask for help, but I was encouraged to reach out for support. This fundraiser aims to cover the costs of the TPLO* surgery to restore Lima's knee joint after a torn CCL.
Lima is a 7 year old rescued Canaan dog. She's originally a street dog from Jordan, and I've had her about 6 years now. She's my baby. Lima ran and fell on an icy incline in December and suffered a bad injury which left her unable to walk or bear weight on her hind left leg. The emergency pet hospital confirmed that it was a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). She's now wearing a brace, and only takes short and brief walks outside. Otherwise, she's at home taking it easy. A full tear cannot heal without surgery. She can no longer run or walk that long.

The Vet Surgeon said that she requires an orthopedic surgery so that she'll be able to walk normally, and to prevent further deterioration in both hind legs. It's a TTA surgery which aims to restore the stability of the knee joint. The total costs out of pocket are well over $8,000* (it's really absurd), but anything helps. I'm sharing an invoice to reassure your donations are going towards medical expenses.

We thank you so much for any help. and I promise to pay it forward!
