Mehrzad Farnoush is only 20 years old. He is a second year student at Colombia University, studying Mathematics. He had a full academic scholarship when he was accepted to the program at UCLA.
He was diagnosed with advanced Leukemia in 2015 .Luckily a stem cell blood donner was found and the transplant was successful.
Due to complication he was transferred to Sloan Kettering Cancer center in New York City from UCLA hospital to continue his treatment. His mother quit her job in Los Angeles and moved to New York to care for him, as he is still in critical condition and in a wheelchair.
The medical and living expenses have become overbearing for this family. They desperately need our help for him to have a chance at life.
