Let Her Roll in Pink!

Hi Everyone,
We’re reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to support an incredible woman—my wife, Kylie —who is facing an increasingly difficult journey with psoriatic arthritis, a chronic autoimmune disease she’s battled since the age of 13.
Now 35 years into this journey, her mobility has significantly declined. Once fiercely independent, she now depends on others to push her manual wheelchair when on outings, making it harder to enjoy the freedom and spontaneity she once embraced. Everyday tasks—like putting on shoes, getting undressed, transferring from the couch, or walking distances—are exhausting and painful. Chronic pain, fatigue, and joint stiffness are her daily reality. Yet she keeps going, wearing a brave face and bringing joy and positivity to those around her.
She’s yet to secure NDIS funding —and she’s too young to access My Aged Care support. Right now, she urgently needs an electric wheelchair and mobility equipment to regain her independence and dignity.
And not just any wheelchair—it’s bright pink, her favourite colour, and a perfect match for her vibrant wardrobe and personality. It’s lightweight and foldable, making it easy to travel with and fit in the car, so she can continue to explore the beautiful world around her. The base cost of the wheelchair is approximately $3,500, not including other essential mobility equipment she’ll need to support her day-to-day life.
She’s a woman who always puts others first—going the extra mile to ensure everyone she meets feels seen, loved, and cared for. She dreams of living a life filled with colour, adventure, and connection—creating lasting memories with those she loves.
And in her own words:
> “Life may be harder these days, but I still choose colour, kindness, and courage.
I don't like relying on others or admitting how difficult life is, or owning how much pain I'm in. But I’m learning that as my condition continues to rob me, I need to wear my heart on my sleeve and let people in to help. I'm sharing this to encourage others—not for sympathy. Life is tough, but it is also bright, beautiful, and full of opportunities. I refuse to sit back and let life pass me by—I have too much to see and feel. Who says you can’t chase dreams in a pink wheelchair? I hope you chase yours too".
Your support will make a world of difference—helping her reclaim her independence, ease her physical burden, and keep living a life full of joy, adventure, and colour.
Thank you so much for your kindness—whether through a donation or by sharing this page, we are deeply grateful.
With love and gratitude, Greg.
