On February 6th, 2025, our boy Charlie Tucker suffered a heart attack. For those who know Charlie, you will not be surprised that he didn’t go to the hospital until two 2 later. Again, not surprising for Charlie, he drove himself to the hospital. He defied all odds and lived through a grueling quadruple bypass surgery. To add to the situation, when he woke up, the doctors diagnosed him with a stroke on top of it all. He had lost function in his left extremities for several days. He had some memory loss and difficulty piecing together time and small motor functions. Despite the odds and the challenges, Charlie has made improvements daily. Within 10 days, he was able to walk with assistance and was released from hospital care.
As many of you know, Charlie has been working at his new job at Scott Fence. Unfortunately, Charlie has been without health insurance and had to apply for healthcare after his emergency. Thankfully, he was approved for Medi-Cal! Close friends and family have all bound together to help Charlie with his recovery. Along with his recovery, we are trying to help ensure that his life and career will be there waiting for him when he's back on his feet.
We have had many reach out wanting to help out. As we work on organizing all his medical needs, we are also working to get finances together. His current expenses are keeping his rent up to date, regular bills, his dietary needs, medication, etc. We all want to help Charlie but as you know, he hates to ask for help or inconvenience anyone ever. But we all know this is not a time for soothing pride, it is a time to help him up. We have no doubt that Charlie will make a full recovery and he will be cheering on his beloved Arsenal!
Note: Charlie’s phone and email are currently disabled.
