Let George Stay Home!

George has had colon cancer since 2014 and has been through every chemo and radiation treatment available, no matter how invasive and no matter how many side effects. He has fought this cancer in every way imaginable. Now he needs to live his life on his own terms and stay at home.
George has been entertaining his whole life, with a long career in bands such as Kil Cooley, Hammer Damage, Color Me Gone, The Dead Boys, Stiv Bators Band, The Sodbusters, The Village Idiots, The Orange Ruffians , The Psyclones, Paper Crowns, Yankee, and The Bad Dudes. After a lifetime of making music and touring, all George wants now is to remain at home.
George has been annoying the neighbors for 45 years, don't let him stop now! Please think of the elders! Protect the nursing home elderly from his wild, musical antics and very nearly unfunny jokes!
The biggest priority for this fundraiser is to use the funds to secure a home nurse so that George does not have to stay in the nursing home. After many courses of chemo and radiation, it is safer and better for him to remain in his house. Though the cost of a home nurse is great, the need to keep George home is greater. We appreciate any funds that you are able to give to allow George to stay home.
This fundraiser is being put together by Meredith Cabaniss, George's niece; Anne Cabaniss, his sister; and Janice Leigh Gray.
