Our dear friend Lester Dumontelle was on his way to work when he was hit by a vehicle. The impact threw him off his motorcycle over 100 feet to the other side of the road. He was transported to Ryder Trauma Center where he was treaded for multiple traumatic injuries. He suffered a broken foot, a fractured sternum, and brain scans have revealed severe contusions and signs of brain trauma. His condition is serious, and he has a long road to recovery ahead.

Lester is currently hospitalized and receiving continuous care. Unfortunately, he does not have medical insurance, and the cost of treatment, hospital stays, and specialized care is incredibly high. To make things even more difficult, he’s unable to work due to the extent of his injuries, leaving him without income to cover even basic living expenses.

Lester has always been someone who brings light and kindness to those around him. Now, in his most vulnerable moment, he needs the support of his community more than ever.
