Last year alone over 90 free lessons were provided to folxs in need. This year I hope to provide over 100! But in order to continue with this initiative I need your support.
My name is Quinn (they/them), and I am a gender-affirming vocal coach and founder of Quintessential Voice Lessons LLC
I help trans and nonbinary people fall in love with their voices and I want to make this practice more accessible to those who need it.
A significant portion of the transgender community experiences discrimination-based financial insecurity. - Creating one of the greatest obstacles to accessing affirming practices such as voice work.
Our campaign goal is to help reduce this barrier and provide lessons to members of the community who will benefit the most, regardless of income.
What can you do to help?
When you contribute to someone's voice journey, you will be supporting a trans-owned small business, and providing individuals with discounted (if not- FREE) lessons that can have a lasting impact on their overall quality of life and personal safety.
- 100% of funds raised will go towards providing voice lessons
- Lesson priority will be given to BIPOC trans women
Voice Lessons are life-changing.
Voice lessons can aid in improving mental health surrounding vocal dysphoria. As well as:
- Aid in gender exploration and the "coming out" process
- Lead to an increase in successful job interviews
- Finding confidence and safety in "gendered spaces"
- Increase personal safety by reducing the risk of targeted transphobic attacks
The transgender community continues to face stigma and discrimination, despite gains in public visibility. We need your support.

- $100 = Provides 1 (50-minute) Lesson
- $800 = Grants a Full-Scholarship to someone on my scholarship waitlist!
- The goal of $10,000 is set to meet the goal of providing 100 lessons for folxs in 2024. Surpassing what I was able to provide on my own last year.
There is no minimum to donate. Every little bit will make a huge difference to those that I work with and those on my waitlist that require accessible options.
Voice Lessons are:
- Held virtually through Zoom
- 1-on-1, providing individualized feedback and support
- Provided by a trauma-informed educator
- Practice centered around inclusive activities and resources to support varied learning styles and neurodiversity
- Typically in 6-8 lessons, an individual can successfully develop their personal practice and have a well-rounded understanding of how to utilize their voice
By donating, you are:
- Providing real, tangible support to marginalized trans folks
- Supporting a trans teacher and small business owner, whose main goal is to empower the trans community
- Showing that you care and support the welfare of the trans and gender non-conforming community at large
