Hi! My name is Lindsay Earle. My husband Morgen and I have been married for three years. We have two beautiful little girls, Cora (2.5 years) and Eloise (5 months).


Morgen is an incredibly talented local filmmaker. He founded his own production company in 2013 (Twelve27 Films , named after our first-born’s birthday) and is pursuing his dream of creating films. He is well-loved by his family, friends, and the community at large. He’s known for being the “big guy”, with a hearty laugh, a great sense of humor, and a sincere passion and zest for life.


At a recent doctor’s appointment, Morgen was classified as “morbidly obese.” Our trusted doctor has recommended Saxenda (a new injectable weight loss medication) to help Morgen, who has been overweight almost his entire life, get down to and stay at a healthy weight. Because Morgen has been so big for so long, our doctor believes conventional means of weight loss will not work on their own. His body thinks his large size is normal, and his attempts to lose weight (sometimes 60+ lbs at a time) have been thwarted by his own body. Thankfully Morgen is otherwise in great health with virtually no side effects from being so overweight (like diabetes, heart disease, etc.), but we need to act quickly before any lasting effects take place. If he can take the medication (along with a healthy regime of diet & exercise) before the side effects of his obesity occur, he could potentially live a normal, long life. If we don’t follow through with this necessary weight loss, Morgen will optimistically live until age 50.


Morgen desperately wants to live. He wants to see his daughters grow, watch them graduate from high school, walk them down the aisle, and one day hold his grandbabies. He wants to pursue his dream of becoming a well-respected cinematographer. He doesn’t want his life to be half over already.


Unfortunately, Saxenda is not covered by our insurance. These necessary medications exceed $1100 per month. Along with this medication, Morgen will be acquiring a gym membership to create a new, healthy habit of exercising and eating well. After taking this medication and committing to a lifestyle of health and wellness, Morgen will also be eligible for the lap band surgery.
