Lesly Poon's Memorial
Hi! I'm Kah Ee, but some of you may know me as Tiffany; Lesly's older daughter. Most may have also met my little sister Khloe who is 9. Unfortunently in February of 2021 my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 Paratoid cancer. Her form of cancer was rare and very aggressive. She fought hard and as long as she could. She completed both Chemotherapy and Radiation treatment. Prior to her passing she had become extremely weak during Chemo and Radiation, even losing her ability to speak for 2 months. Mid-July she started regaining her strength to consume liquid on her own. Sadly the foodie in her just wanted to recover ASAP to eat real food again. She did not go down without a fight. She started to have enough energy to cook again, which is what she absolutely missed the most while going through treatment. Anybody that knew my mother knew how much she loved eating and trying new things. During her last weeks on earth, she spent her remaining time with my little sister Khloe and myself. On August 24, 2021 my mother passed away peacefully in her sleep. It has been very tough for my sister and myself to accept that she is peacefully resting with her Cadilac Margarita in heaven. Many who reached out all shared such sweet memories of my mother. She will forever be remembered as somebody who could light a room up. She was a women who would always lend a hand if you needed help. I started a Go Fund Me as many old friends and colleagues reached out to make a donation for her funeral. A simple prayer for my mother and my family would also do, but if you would like to make a donation it is greatly appreciated. Goal listed is just a portion of total funeral cost. We truly do appreciate the amount of support we have received from all. Please keep my mother and my family in prayers as we navigate this difficult time. All donations collected will go entirely to funeral cost at Rose Hills. If you would like to attend her funeral it will be at:
Rose Hills 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601
September 9, 2021 at 9AM at CHAPEL 120 followed by a graveside burrial.
Thank you.
