A Piece of Our Heart Is Gone
Today, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of Leslie Jo Smith, who was taken from us far too soon. Leslie’s light and laughter touched so many lives—she had a gift for making everyone feel special, and her joy was truly contagious.
As many of you know, Leslie leaves behind her beloved 16-year-old daughter, Jordyn, who now faces this unimaginable time without her mom. Leslie lived with her own mother, Carol, who is also going through a difficult period—recovering from major arm surgery following a serious fall.
We are coming together as a community to support this family in any way we can. Funds raised will go toward funeral expenses and to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly painful time.
Leslie was a friend to all—warm, full of life, and endlessly kind. If you’re able, any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. Even the smallest gesture will be a blessing to Jordyn and Carol.
