I never thought I’d be here. Writing this. Asking for help like this.

But after doing everything right… I’m still facing eviction.

I’m a single mom.

I’m a mom who’s spent the last few years helping people land jobs, build confidence, and bounce back from rock bottom.

Now I’m at my own rock bottom.

And I’m asking for help—openly, urgently, and without shame.

HOW I GOT HERE:

This past year shattered everything I thought was secure:

• I was laid off—twice.

• I discovered I was pregnant—8 months in.

• I gave birth with no crib, no savings, no partner, and no plan.

• I left an abusive relationship.

• I struggled with anxiety, hair loss due to the abuse, silence, and no support. My kids are the only family I have.

• I watched someone I trusted take rent money… and never pay it.

Now I owe thousands in back rent, and we’ve just received a final eviction notice.

I have two children depending on me.

A 7-year-old who just finished the school year.

A baby who still wakes up every few hours to be held.

And we’re about to lose the only home they’ve ever known.

WHY I’M ASKING FOR HELP:

I’m not lazy. I’m not careless.

I’m a mother trying to survive a storm I didn’t choose.

I’m humbly asking for your help to raise $14,500 to cover:

• Back rent (to stop the eviction)

• Future rent + bills (to stay afloat the next 2-3 months)

• Basic expenses for my kids while I continue to search for rent
