Hey everyone, my name is Ashlie and I’m Leslie’s sister.

 

A little over a week ago Leslie, along with her family shockingly learned that her cancer had returned. It was not the news we had hoped for, but with the support of her family and friends, Leslie is ready to fight again.

 

Most of you have been following my updates on my personal page, so I won’t go into a ton of detail here. However, I will give a little summary of everything just in case you might have missed the updates.

 

As most of you know, Leslie was diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the first time in 2015, again in 2017, and now a third time eight days ago. It’s in her liver and lower abdominal cavity up by the hip bone. After finally getting her electrolytes and blood count stabilized, scans, and procedures done while in the hospital, she is now home. We meet with her oncologist this Thursday to discuss everything and she’ll be starting chemo.

 

To ask for help, especially money is highly unlike Leslie, but for the unforeseeable future, she will be unable to work until they see how she does with the treatment. She has monthly bills that are going to start piling up and she could use some help.
