Hi, My name is Michael Levine and Leslie Zeren has been among my very closest friends for almost my whole life. I have loved Leslie's zest for life, her kindness and loving compassion for the rest of us humans and it goes without saying her love for all of our animal friends too. I first met Leslie at Herrick's High School and we became very close friends in College over the next few years. In 2017 Leslie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and fought it like the Goddess Warrior that she is until it finally took her from us this week. She fought bravely and she fought hard. By her side through it all was her husband of 27 years Bob. I am so thankful that Leslie had Bob to care for her. He took such good care of her always and made those years as good as can be. Bob is a gem and I am so lucky to count him among my best buddies.
