Many people know Leslie through work, family or friendship. My boys (her nephews) know her as Tia Leslie and on their list of VIPs, she is at the top! Leslie was attacked by a dog on Thanksgiving and it unfortunately resulted in quite the traumatic injury. The tip of her nose was bitten off and she has several lacerations all over her face and is in an incredible amount of pain. She is also self employed and does not have paid leave from her job. She has been to the ER twice in the last few days and has not been able to see a plastic surgeon yet. Both ER visits resulted in referrals to a plastic surgeon for the reconstruction of her nose. But as of right now we are clueless to the process. Time and money spent repairing the damage is weighing very heavily on her as well as the unknown of how or if they will be able to repair her nose. If you are able to assist in any way, I know she would be so appreciative.
