In Memory of Leslie Robinson

In memory of Leslie Robinson

Leslie Robinson passed away on 3rd July 2025 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. Over a long and respected career in hospitality, Les helped make countless weddings and events special, most recently during his time at Kenwick Park, Louth.

Les grew up in Derbyshire, where he developed a love of hill walking - something that remained a constant in his life. Whether walking the hills near home or exploring the Lake District, he appreciated the value of well-maintained paths and clear signposting, always taking photos as he passed!

We’re raising funds in his memory to support:

The National Trust for Scotland Footpath Fund, which helps maintain and restore walking routes across Scotland.

The Lake District Foundation, where a traditional fingerpost will be installed in tribute to Les in one of his favourite walking areas.

All contributions will help create something lasting and purposeful, reflecting Les’s love for the outdoors and his connection to the places that mattered most to him.

Thank you for your support.
