Hello, my name is Tammy Crome and it is with a sad but hopeful heart that I am reaching out to our loving dog show family to help my precious friend Leslie in this devastating fight for her life.
About 6 weeks ago, Leslie had to leave work due to a detached retina. While having surgery to reattach it, the doctors found a mass behind her eye. 3 weeks ago, after many tests, Leslie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer throughout her little body. Leslie had 2 spots around her brain, 1 large tumor on her spine, and one on her breast. Leslie is a widow and since the surgery, she has lost her eyesight. I’m so thankful for Greg, her brother, and Verna, her sister-in-law, who have moved in to help.
Leslie lives in Prescott and has to travel next week to Phoenix to receive her 1st round of cancer treatments to her brain and spine. She will need a 2-bed hotel room for 8 days as she will be unable to travel back and forth. That will be followed up by another round in March.
Leslie has been out of work for over 6 weeks and has not yet received any disability. Unfortunately, she needs help right now with accommodations, co-pays, meds, and other expenses that come with this process.
Although the doctors have listed Leslie as terminal, Leslie is resting on her faith that God is in control and He never lacks grace or mercy.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 17:20:
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Please join me in praying and having faith of a mustard seed for Leslie and if you can donate to help take some of the worries off of her plate she would be so grateful.
