It is with a heavy heart and a spirit of remembrance that we share with you the passing of Leslie Girdler.

Our beloved father/ grandfather, passed away on the 21st March 2025. He was a man of unwavering kindness and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He touched so many lives with his gentle humour, wise advice and happy nature.

To honor his memory and continue the good he brought into the world, we are establishing a memorial fund in his name. We've decided to raise money for the Linford Ward in Basildon Hospital, the ward that cared for dad/grandad until the very end with such dignity and compassion that made his sad passing that little more bearable.

Dad/Grandad always believed in helping others and in his time of need he was using a Nebuliser regularly. The ward needs more and better quality Nebulisers to support others in the future and this is what we are raising funds for in his memory.

Instead of floral tributes we would appreciate any donations made in his memory.
