Eight years ago Leslie Embry took a leap of faith and started a business that turned in to so much more than just a place to get a blowout. She has connected women, helped foster friendships and community, and provided a way for her employees to make a living doing what they love. Leslie has remained positive throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic and has only worried about her employees. We want to be there to make sure someone worries about her.
Luckily for her business she was able to get a PPP loan in round two. Due to the guidelines the majority of this money is going to pay her employees, rent, and operating expenses. Salons are not able to open until Phase 2 of the Nashville Reopening plan and even then it’s only at 50% capacity. She has been keeping her business, one that so many of us rely on weekly, afloat out of her own personal savings account. Her friends and employees want to make sure we can help relieve some of the financial burden that has been placed on her and her family since temporarily closing her doors at the Blowout Co.
