Leslie and her family!

Hi, my name is Kristen. I am a friend of Leslie's. For those that know her, you know she is one of the kindest people you have ever met. She is always doing things to help others. She is always there for her friends, family, and her patients when she is needed without a question.

Last year Leslie was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical dysplasia (this is the stage before full blown cervical cancer). She had an operation last year to have these cells removed from her cervix. When she went back a few months ago for a follow up, abnormal cells had returned and she was advised to have a Hysterectomy. Leslie went for a second opinion because of her age and she was advised again to have a Hysterectomy before this turned into cervical cancer. Leslie is scheduled to have her operation the first week of April and will be out of work for 4-5 weeks. She started a new job a few months ago and does not have short/long term disability yet. She also has a high deductable insurance plan and with it being the beginning of the year she will have to pay out of pocket for most of her medical expenses, along with not getting paid for 3-4 weeks. Let's all work together and help Leslie and her family in time of need, just as she has done for others. No amount is too small, and if you can not donate, please just pray for Leslie, her family, the surgeons, and medical staff. I know this was a very hard decision for Leslie to make. She loves children and always wanted to have more but now that is not possible! So please pray for her to have peace with this decision and for the Lord to comfort her during this difficult time.
