Leslie & Adam financial rescue

This is our Leslie's 4th bout with cancer. It showed up in her tongue and she went through radiation treatments which left her mouth & throat sore and raw so that she could not eat. She declined from lack of nutrition but kept trying to eat soft food so that she didn't have to get a feed tube. She kept working at home. She never ever missed work due to chemo over the years of dealing with the cancer.. On July 5, Adam, Leslie's fiance, called the paramedics to take her to St. Vincent's ER. She had gotten dehydrated and was malnurished . She was admitted and remained in St. Vincents for the rest of July, with the exception of one week in St. Caterine's rehab. (She was placed on a feed tube after admittance to St Vincents. ) At the end of that week, she was back in St. Vincent's with pneumonia because the staff at St. Catherines had not checked on her during the night and left her flat on her back with the feed tube pumping the liquid food into her lungs....
Leslie also developed encephalopathy from the treatment and is mentally incapacitated due to swelling of the brain.
Leslie has lost her job and income as a result of her illness. Her insurance will be cut off in a couple weeks, so we have to figure out a way to keep that insurance to continue to pay for her medical treatments.
Leslie is home now and still very weak and unable to be left alone. Adam took a leave from his job, but must return to work this week. Their usual bills are going to be due soon ..car payment, insurance, electric, etc. The usual bills we all have.. They currently, literally have no money...
Leslie is going to continue treatments of Ketruda, which is an auto-immune drug. It has shrunk the tumor in her tongue, so it's doing it's job. We just have to make sure she is able to keep getting the treatments.
This is a very urgent need for Leslie and Adam.
We, the family, want to thank in advance, each person for any donation you can give to help.... this may sound trite, but from my heart I believe that you will be blessed in your own life...
Again, thank you !!
