Lesley and Shaun Need Help Having a Baby

Lesley and I started our journey together way back in high school when we were 16 years old. We were each others first love and although life took us in different directions at times, we somehow always found our way back to each other, even if it was years later.
High School sweethearts that reconnected after 16 years later only to fall back in love and get married. This may sound like a fairy tale, however, we have been struggling to get our fairy tale ending.
For the last 4 years, Lesley and I have struggled with fertility issues and conceiving a child. We have gone through 3 cycles of IUI, undergone surgery, a multitude of testing, and tried any and every remedy we could find to improve our chances, however no matter what we tried, we still have yet to be successful.
Additionally, on top of having difficulty conceiving, we have been met with additional heartache and suffered through 3 miscarriages, and one pregnancy that turned out not to be viable.
Doctors call it "Unexplained Infertility" which as you can imagine, "Unexplained" and not having a reason, does not help matters when you are trying to solve a particular situation.
At this stage, we are both so emotionally exhausted that we thought about giving up. Too many tears and too many years of disappointment. Now we have come to the conclusion that trying our hand at IVF, is our last ditch effort to try and have a baby.
Seeing how hurt Lesley is every time those tests come back negative, after every loss, after every struggle, this is something that I really want to do for her, and I really feel like we need a win.
IVF however, is an extremely expensive, and stressful endeavor. Costs are upward of almost $27,000 and we are hoping that anyone who is able to, can find it in their heart to help out. Every dollar we can raise will just bring us that much closer to achieving our dream.
