Lesia Pruitt- Mother, Beloved Friend, and Educator

It's with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of a truly special woman, a devoted mother, and an educator who touched the lives of countless children and families. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity inspired everyone around her, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. With a heart full of love and a spirit that could light up a room, she dedicated her life to spreading joy, kindness, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

As her daughters navigate this difficult time, they could use your support. To help cover the costs of her funeral, I’ve created this GoFundMe. Her daughters- Samantha, Taylor, and Sadie Pruitt have suffered an absolutely unimaginable loss. I’d like to lessen their load in any way possible, as I know that is what Lesia would want. Any contribution you can make will go directly towards easing the financial burden on Lesia’s girls, allowing them to focus on celebrating her life and legacy. Her girls were her pride and joy and she treasured them immensely. She was their rock, their confidant, and their guiding light. She loved them more than anything and especially treasured their girls nights/ sleepovers. They were everything to her.

This remarkable woman was also dedicated to the children and families she served, and her love for her job and the kids she worked with was evident in everything she did. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care made her a beloved figure in the lives of her students and colleagues alike. She will be deeply missed and her loss is felt deeply across the community, but her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.
